Digital realism and analog reality
Analog film technologies, which
for more than a century offered the possibility of creating previously unseen images in motion, have almost completely disappeared
in recent years. They have been replaced by digitally produced worlds of images which, despite their sheer endless possibilities,
produce a very limited form of "beauty". However, the combination of analog and digital technologies offers a treasure trove
of methods for creating images that are credible precisely because of their abstraction.
